Welcome to Shyam Packers And Movers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our packing, moving, and relocation services in Bangalore and across India. By booking our services, contacting us, or using our website shyampackersandmovers.in, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

We offer professional packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking services for household and office relocations. Our services include:

• Local and inter-city moving
• Packing with high-quality materials
• Safe transportation of goods (furniture, appliances, etc.)
• Insurance options (available upon request)
• Storage facilities (short-term, if needed)

All services are performed by our trained team of 20+ members with 10+ years of experience.

2. Booking & Quotation

• Quotations are based on inventory, distance, and service type. Final charges may vary after physical survey.
• Booking is confirmed only after 30% advance payment.
• Cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled move incurs a 20% cancellation fee.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if goods are prohibited or unsafe.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate inventory and access to premises.
• Pack valuables, documents, and cash yourself (we are not liable for these).
• Disconnect appliances and drain water from fridge/washing machine before packing.
• Be present or appoint a representative during packing and delivery.

4. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

• Hazardous materials (chemicals, explosives, flammable items)
• Perishable food, plants, or pets
• Illegal items or contraband
• High-value items without declaration (e.g., jewelry, antiques)

Any violation may lead to service termination without refund.

5. Payment Terms

• 30% advance at booking.
• 70% balance before unloading at destination.
• Payment via cash, bank transfer, or UPI.
• GST applicable as per government rules.
• No refund for completed services.

6. Liability & Insurance

We take utmost care, but:

• Liability limited to ₹10,000 unless insurance is purchased.
• Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photo proof.
• No liability for internal damage to electronics unless packed by us.
• Transit insurance must be requested in writing before move.

7. Delivery Timeline

• Local moves: Same or next day.
• Inter-city: 2–7 days depending on distance.
• Delays due to traffic, weather, or force majeure are not liable for compensation.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated version will be posted on our website. Continued use of services after changes implies acceptance.
